Mikel Arteta insists Arsenal can still improve their game despite injury problems in attack The Gunners are struggling with

a number of attacking injuries ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League last-16 first leg at PSV Eindhoven, with

Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz all out, leaving Mikel Merino playing as a substitute striker for the third successive game. สมัคร ufabet กับเรา รับโบนัสทันที Arsenal have failed to score in their last two games but Arteta

is confident his side can rediscover their form and perform well in Europe. “The last two games,

the results were very different. The results were not what we wanted, but we played better, especially in the last game, than the other team,” Arteta said.

“We still have a lot of potential, even without a lot of key players. Everyone has to improve because in this competition, it’s about playing at the highest level and when we do, we are a very strong team.”

Arteta also stressed that his players need to get over their disappointment quickly because there are a lot of fixtures to play for.

“Defeat always hurts but you only have 24 hours to be sad because then you have to focus on the next game, there is no time to dwell on the past,” said the Spaniard.

“This is very important for the players and the coach because at this level, every three days you have to be ready for a new game, physically and mentally.”

Arsenal, 13 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool despite having played a game in hand, remain the club’s most likely hope for silverware this season.

“No matter what situation you are in the league, when you get to this stage of the Champions League there is a special atmosphere,” Arteta added.

“You can feel the energy and the excitement because it is not a game we play every week. The main thing is you have two choices – stay or finish – and this will definitely push the players to give their best.”
