Gabriel Agbonlahor has hailed Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch as one of the Premier League’s top three midfielders.

The Dutchman has shone since the start of the new season in a No.6 role and picked up another Man of the Match award in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Wolves.
“I think there’s only been one game, the rest he’s been Man of the Match all season,” Agbonlahor said.
“He’s been outstanding. He didn’t play a lot under Jurgen Klopp but this season under the slot he’s played a lot.
Gravenberch has played every minute of the Reds’ six league games this term and is undoubtedly living up to his early promise.
Signed by Jurgen Klopp from สมัคร ufabet Bayern Munich for £34million in 2023, Gravenberch played second fiddle behind the German’s preferred midfield trio of Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Wataru Endo last term.
A frustrating first season saw him complete just one full 90 minutes under Klopp but there appears to be no such difficulty under the guidance of compatriot Arne Slot.
“He’s strong, he’s got to be aggressive, he’s got pace, he’s got skill, he can run on the ball, he’s got to be big enough to play set-pieces if needed. “
For me, he’s an outstanding midfielder and I’d put him in my top three midfielders for the season, outstanding ability and shows how strong Liverpool are in that position.”
