Southampton are set to sack their latest manager Ivan Juric at the end of the season.

The Saints are bottom of the table and are suffering their worst run in the Premier League so far this

season, having picked up just nine points, winning two and drawing three of their 27 games.

Juric was appointed as manager at the end of December on an 18-month contract. After Russell Martin was sacked by the club.

A second sack would mean a second sack in a season after Roma sacked him in November. After just 12 games in charge.

Rohl has been a target since Martin left in November. But talks over a compensation deal with Wednesday have broken down. The report says Sheffield Wednesday are unwilling to let the German leave on a cheap deal after their impressive start to the season. 

Wednesday currently sit 13th in the table. Seven points off the play-off spot, Rohl is a wealth of experience despite his young age, having previously worked for Europe’s top clubs, including Bayern Munich. The 35-year-old also played a key role in Germany’s national team camp between 2021 and 2023.
